JENNIE SUDDICK

Jennie Suddick is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Toronto, Canada. Jennie has lived and shown in both Canada and Italy. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ontario College of Art and Design, where she was the recipient of multiple awards, before going to York University to receive her Master of Fine Arts, which she completed in Spring 2009. Her work, based in print, photography and sculpture, deals with issues of Canadian identity, cryptozoology, museological display, hyper reality, and her own relationship to nature. Recently, she has shown at Board of Directors, The Gallery at The Mississauga Living Arts Centre, and received of the Award of Excellence at the 2009 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition.


ALISON S. M. KOBAYASHI

Alison S. M. Kobayashi is a visual artist working in video, performance, installation and drawing.
She was born and raised in Mississauga and is currently based in Brooklyn and Toronto. Her interest in found narratives resulted in two video works, From Alex To Alex and Dan Carter. Finding a lost letter in the first case, and a discarded answering machine tape in the second, Kobayashi imagines identities for each person mentioned in the narrative and then performs all the roles herself. In 2006 she won the TSV Artistic Vision Award for Best Local Short Film at the Toronto Reel Asian Film Festival and in 2007 was awarded the Mississauga Arts Award for Best Emerging Artist. Her films have been shown in Canada, the U.S. and Hong Kong.

EMILY GOVE

Emily Gove is a Toronto-based artist working primarily in digital photography and video. She graduated from the Art & Art History program at the University of Toronto and Sheridan college in 2005 and completed her MFA at York University in 2009. Her work deals with awkwardness, nostalgia and failure. Emily was an occasional goth in high school and currently regrets giving away all of those outfits.


CAMERON G. LEE
Cameron Lee lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. His multi-disciplinary practice explores materiality and the role of performance. He has exhibited in Canada and the United States.
Recently, he has participated in Artists and Models: Stimulus for Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center and 7a*11d at XPACE Cultural Centre. He is a member of the Toronto studio project The White House.
